The information you put in your profile will help link you with other members and is the tool you'll use to show everyone what you're all about. What you include will help you appear in searches and encourage other members to contact you. This is also the information that Kisscafe will use to decide what other people you are most compatible with. All the great qualities you include about yourself will help bring other users to you. This is your place to shine!
In your profile, there is a section you can use to write a larger, private message, viewable only by your private contacts. This section is located under your 'in my own words' panel.
So you're ready to sign up for your free Kisscafe account? First, we need you to complete three quick steps to get you on your way.
To sign up for your free account, we need an active email account address from you. We promise we won't sell your address or send you any mail you don't want to get. We've all been there, and we know how annoying it can be.
During the sign up process we use mail verification to check that the address you have given us really does exist, (and is being used by you) by sending a confirmation email to that account. The email address you give us will be used each time you login, along with your password.
If you change your email address, we use the same method to check that your new address is accurate.
Using your primary email address is the best way to avoid this happening to you, but don't worry, you won't have to sign up for a new account or start building your profile from scratch. Attempt to log in again using all the email addresses you use, you will be prompted with an error message if the email address does not exist in our system. G'Luck treasure hunter!
After you've signed up, you can start filling in your profile information. This is what we'll use to find your compatibles (other Kisscafe members who share the same interests as you). You can upload pictures into your photo album to tell other members more about you and the exciting adventures you've been on. Your profile also gives you a space to create a blog that you can use as a journal or to keep your friends and privates filled in on what has been holding your attention. This is the place where it really is all about you.
After filling in the few mandatory fields on your essential information, you can start choosing other areas you want to fill in, from your favourite hobbies, restaurants, and leisure activities, to what it is in a match that makes you tick. Remember, the more information you offer, the easier it will be to find compatibles and bring the right people to your profile. Including more information will make you more popular in searches and will give other users all the more reason to get in contact with you.
Kisscafe's In Place Profile Editing is the easiest way to fill in and change the information on your profile. You don't need to worry about refreshing or reloading the information to get it onto your page or see what it looks like. The way your profile looks as you edit it is exactly the way it appears to others (exluding locked items like your first name, last name, birthday and postal code). All you need to do is sign into your account, go to the ''My Profile'' page (from the menu at the extreme top right portion of your screen) click on the edit field at the top of the title and start typing. When your done click at the bottom, and all your information will be saved. It's really that easy. Honest.
Your profile photo is the picture people see when you appear in a search or in their Favorites. It's also the main picture that appears on your profile. You can have up to 20 photos in your photo album, any of which can be changed to your profile photo, at any time.
To change your profile image, enter the ''My Photos'' editing section of your profile. Select the photo you want, and then click and drag it into the pink square at the top left of your photo album. Click and drag the picture in the pink box out, and the next photo will take its place.
If you try to set a private picture as your profile image, you'll receive a warning and will need to confirm that you want to do this. As your profile image, this will make your photo viewable anywhere your profile image would normally appear.

Kisscafe is a great way to get out and meet interesting people in your area. But don't forget, it is a public space where lots of people have access to the information that you put in your profile. Use common sense and don't put any information on your profile that you wouldn't be comfortable letting a stranger know.
If there is anything on your profile that you only want a select few to see, you have the option of making it private so that only those you have rated as privates can view whatever you have locked away.

We'll be sad to see you go, but if you wish to remove your profile, start by going to www.kisscafe.com/faq/feedback. From there, select "Account Removal" from the list of Categories. Then send us a message telling us you'd like us to remove your account. Remember to include your account information, including your profile name and email address, so we know which profile to remove.
