Foot in both worlds

Tags: relationship romance belonging

Do you ever wonder whether the reason finding true love is so difficult is because we are using both sides of our brains at once?  If you are only using the heart, then it is not really true love, more infatuation.  And if using only the brain, there's little spark.

So, do you have trouble opening up with the opposite sex?  Should one just follow their heart alone, then fill in the details later?  Or should you be cautious and consider the whole situation?

Thanks.

this is my first post, BTW

Hey Lovecraft.....when it comes right down to it you should use neither your head or your heart in matters of love....use your stomach...it is the home of your intuition and will never lie to you.

I find a little bit to open up to someone because those darn butterflies get in the way sometimes.
But other than that if I really like someone I'd kinda hide it and then ask friends advice if I should open up those feelings (You know go with caution, because what if they don't reciprocate then you feel like crap).

I'm cautious. I guess.
