fact: In landfills, cell phones create toxic waste. But when they're not in the garbage, they can save lives. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford their own.

act: Donate your old cell phone to Charitable Recycling. If possible, the phone will be refurbished and given to someone who might need it for emergencies. If it's too old, it'll be safely disposed of. Oh yeah, and for every cell phone turned in, they'll make a monetary donation to a charity, no matter how old the phone is or what shape it's in.
