act: Don't donate your computer to charity unless it's still working well. Donating an old computer that doesn't work is just creating waste for someone else to deal with. Remember when you recycle your computer to find out where it will end up. Even better, use your computer for the entire duration of its lifespan and then have it properly disposed of.
